I am an enthusiastic Civil Engineer specialized in Construction Information Modeling and my primary research interests are in the areas of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Soil-structure interaction and deep foundations. I have received my M.Sc. in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering at UCLA and my B.Sc. in Civil Engineering at the University of Patras in Greece. My research projects so far cover topics in BIM of Industrial facilities, computational mechanics, applied mathematics, finite-element analysis and statistical analysis. I have been a Teaching Assistant at University of Cambridge and UCLA for the Academic Years of 2014-2016 and I was also active in engineering student groups at University of Cambridge (Cambridge University Engineering Society) and UCLA (CalGeo, ASCE, EERI). My professional goals are to further expand my capabilities to cutting-edge research in Civil Engineering Projects and push myself forward in the service of our society.
I am a passionate Argentine Tango Dancer over half-a-decade now. My first steps in dancing were at the age of eight, as part of theater productions in traditional Hellenic dances of Greece. I have been part of an Argentine Tango performance troupe in Greece and had the opportunity to teach group classes at the University of Patras in Greece as well as private classes. My musical backgound, studying music and playing the piano for twelve years, extends my dancing further than being a series of steps connected to music. My passion for Argentine Tango is the driving force to enhance my performance as a dancer and inspire other people to start their own personal journey in dancing.
